New Patients
We welcome all new clients at Premium Physiotherapy. Initial consultations take 30 minutes, during which you will receive a thorough examination and explanation of your condition, along with commencement of your treatment plan. For your convenience you can print and fill out the new client registration forms and bring them along to your first appointment. Alternatively, arrive 5 – 10 minutes early and fill them out in the waiting room.
What should I bring?
Please bring along any relevant clinical information pertaining to your injury such as X-Rays / scans / reports, or any referrals you may have.
What should I wear?
Please wear appropriate clothing that makes it easy for assessing the injured body part. For example, wearing or changing into shorts for assessment of a lower limb injury is most helpful.
How do I pay for my consult?
All private consultations are required to be settled on the day. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard. If you have private Health Insurance extras cover you can claim on the spot with our HICAPS terminal and just pay the gap.
Do you accept TAC, Workcover and DVA clients?
Yes, we are registered to treat all TAC, Workcover and DVA clients. Bring along appropriate GP referrals and claim numbers to your initial appointment. There is NO surcharge for TAC, Workcover or DVA clients.
Can I claim for my treatment on Medicare?
Medicare rebates are only available if an EPC plan has been completed by your GP. Strict conditions have to be met to be eligible for 5 part funded physiotherapy sessions. Your GP will decide whether you are eligible. An additional $20 surcharge per session applies.
